Weyerbacher - Sour Black (Pinot Noir Barrels)

You may remember back on May 4th we welcomed Bobby Clark from Weyerbacher to premier a new sour Ale coming from Chris Wilson called Sour Black.  At the time this was simply a working name and there was no real label or even name.  I can tell you it’s an amazing beer and I’m really excited to see that it will be hitting the shelves soon.  Sour Black will be packaged in 750ml bottles.  Sour Black was aged in former Rapture Pinot Noir barrels and the you can really taste the influence the wine barrels had on it with a vinous background, a little oak and a wonderful sour flavor.
